Bird-fish
The shape and diversity of the Vineyard’s topography are the result of this island’s location and experiences during the final stage of the last glaciation. That happened a long time ago! And surely it was God’s handiwork, which is why I find the shapes in this topographical map so fascinating.
Take the bird-fish, for instance. It could be a bird, or perhaps it is a winged fish. Then again, it might even be a prophesy “spoken” by God long, long ago that in January 2009 an airplane would land safely on the Hudson River and its wings become watery platforms on which the passengers would stand while awaiting rescue!
